George IV Hotel

It made us feel very nostalgic for the TV show Bullseye from the 80s and reminded us of decades gone by .

Excellent breakfast options and very good evening meal evening when not on a alpha trip.

The breakfast was good. The room was clean and not too tiny.

I was very disappointed by the cost of two rooms when I compared it with the cost of two rooms at the Grand Hotel in Llandudno for the following night. There really was no difference between the rooms or the facilities but the cost was in excess of £100 more at George IV and it was the off season! Until I booked Llandudno I had no idea of the difference - I would not have stayed at the George IV had I thought there would be such a large difference!

Really friendly staff

Great location a small walk to council carpark but great service by hotel of paying refundable deposit for a car park pass which enabled us to park overnight there.

The fact that people going on the coach holidays seemed to get quicker service at breakfast time others were placed in another room away from holidaymakers on coaches.We actually didn't bother with breakfast on our last day due to this.

After having ridden for 5 hours on our motor bikes, I discovered that I had made a booking date error. The staff (Rosalyn, and I guess the manager who's name I didn't get) were so very helpful, and used the powers that they had to get us a room in what was a fully booked out hotel. Thanks so much guys, you truly saved the day.
