PTCharming and comfortable flat in the heart of Lisbon, in the historic part of the city. The flat has been restored, retaining all its traditional 17th/18th-century architectural features, such as the original vaulted ceilings (in some places, such as the shower, this is not always very practical, especially if you are tall), but this was done to preserve history rather than destroy it and replace it with impersonal materials. I loved it!

The stairs into the apartment are quite steep if you have luggage - fine for me, but I might not recommend to my parents, for example.
