PTEverything at the accommodation was pitch perfect. Beautiful renovation of historic building; comfortable bed . We had everything we needed. Wonderful location in the heart of historical city just by the side of tha Castelo de São Jorge!! Miguel was so helpful when our backpack was left in the back of a taxi!

PTI go to Lisbon for work several times a month. I discovered Casa do Castelo by chance and was very surprised. The atmosphere and decoration are unique and special. You can see the care taken in offering something that is not touristy, despite being in one of the best locations in the city to discover the heart of Lisbon. The apartment shows great care in the restoration of a space full of history while maintaining the original. It has limitations that affect our shower, but it is not a situation that bothers me given the care and cleanliness that is dedicated to the space. Do not bring too many bags: the access staircase is narrow, as in all historic buildings in Lisbon.
In reality, nothing displeased me. But being an apartment in a historic area, there are points that require extra maintenance. But nothing significant or that would affect a short stay.
AULoved being in the old town in an old historic building. Top floor and quirky with high ceilings complete with short door frames and squeaky floorboards. Beautifully decorated and original. Lots of space and very comfortable. Host communicated really well.
GBPTPerfect location. Perfect atmosphere. A really good experience. A complete apartment, full of character and history. We can see that it has been very well restored, maintaining all the classic and traditional features of the time. That is why, sometimes, in the shower, the vaulted ceilings have some height limitations. But nothing that bothers us. It is an original apartment in a building that we can also think of as belonging to the Castle Walls. The stairs are a little narrow, which can sometimes be limiting. Nothing that bothers us I will be back.

BGMiserable – dirty, old, and poorly maintained. To reach the apartment, you have to climb dark, narrow, and steep stairs to the third floor, which is quite a challenge with luggage. It smells musty. The floor creaks. You have to step over the bathtub to get to the shower, which is positioned in such a way that my husband had to crouch. We are very disappointed.
