Hex Wildlife Hotel at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

loved the layout and convenience of check in and the walk over to the main hotel. Great decor and amenities in our room, including shower room toiletries and drinks facilities in the room. The windows were great to look out over the park and the bed was comfy.

Cleanliness: Not a lot of negativity to say, except our sink and shower we’re not cleaned after our first night, this was evident from visible soap residue in the basin and watermarks on the taps. Residue was clear to see in the shower from the previous nights use, eg soap suds, black fluff and hair. I’m not sure the floor was vacuumed/swept between our first & second night. Other than this we cannot fault our stay.

The staff were lovely, room was very clean and spacious. Restaurant had a good selection of beers and wines. It was a lovely place to relax after being on your feet all day at the zoo.
