Proximity to park.

Access to park wasn’t unlimited. Very noisy, footsteps and thumping in above rooms and corridors

"Very convenient for the safari park"

I had a park facing room which was fabulous. The first room offered looked on to building works but was changed on request.

The floor wasn’t clean and I couldn’t switch aircon below 19 which was too warm for sleeping

"Fantastic short break"

Amazing opportunity to see animals in the park from the comfort of your room . We were lucky enough to see the monkeys swinging on their ropes , tapers going for a swim , prairie dogs and maned wolves having a stroll . Very comfortable quiet room and excellent breakfast

Amazing place. Well located, easy to find. So much parking. Short walk from car park to hotel reception. Well designed and spotless. Hotel reception has everything. Quick check in. Then out of the hotel reception and you have loads of great independent shops. The restaurant is fantastic, beautiful seating outside overlooking the animals. The rooms are functional. Got nice products and has everything you need. Mini fridge is a great bonus. The park itself is fabulous, so much space and natural areas for the animals. Which does mean a lot of walking. Loads of animals to see. Best wildlife park we have ever been to, and we have been to all of them in the UK.

Check in wasn’t until 4pm, which I think is a bit cheeky. That’s really late. I’ve been to a lot of hotels in the UK and world and most are latest 2pm. And there wasn’t even “I’ll check to see if your room is ready” it was …”you aren’t getting in till 4pm regardless” which I don’t understand? They also called our room park “side” that’s a bit of a stretch of the imagination. Also the beds are supposed to be “king” they are a big double at the most!! The full length mirror is not accessible.
