When we arrived at Rahat Hotel, the owner told us there is no room available due to broken hot water, we would have to stay at Iyman Hotel down the road which he claimed he also owned. The room there was much worse than what we booked, no TV, no fridge, no kettle, and we had to make our own bed. No cleaning service or breakfast provided. We only accepted this after he agreed to a discount. He told us we would have to pay later as the credit card machine was broken. When paying later, he forced us to pay the full amount, threatened to call the police to create us trouble at the border, refused to provide us registration documents, and when we finally paid the full amount in cash USD to avoid trouble with Uzbek authorities, he only provided a registration and receipt for the discounted amount. We felt very unsafe at this hotel.

Excellent location, impeccably clean, very friendly owners. Great value for the price!

-There was absolutely no any shelf/ wardrobe for three bedroom person in a tiny room -As our vacation was during Ramadan we warned and asked for an early breakfast, but upon arrival they did not make any attempt to provide it, so we were faced to organize it by ourselves -There was a smell from toilet -I warned several times that check in will be after 8PM and assured the reception that I definitely will arrive, but they kept to say that they try to keep the reservation. Also, upon arrival at 20:10 I figured out that they were going to cancel my booking cause I was late for 10 minutes -pure breakfast; if you go after 9AM, there is almost nothing left

Good breakfast and close by the tourisr spots.
