The Old Stables

The property is extremely outstanding in every elements. We can enjoy a vacation in a farmhouse but it just takes 5-minute drive to Tesco Extra, 20-minute to Paulton Parks and 30-minute to Stonehenge. A very good choice for escaping from city life.

Amazing location, great hosts, very clean and well presented. Line, towel provided. Milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam as a free welcome pack. Peaceful and exclusive. Highly recommended.

The Old Stables was an absolute find! Gorgeous location, perfect for our needs. Very clean and provided us with everything we needed for our brief stay.

Only one shower room.

You have everything you need here. I read something about privacy in the previous comments and was expecting a highway or a pedestrian footpath in front of the house. That's not the case. You have all the privacy you need. 2 bathrooms, extremely hot water, acres of land to walk on, security gate at the entrance, and so on. Premium quality when in comes to house design and furniture pieces, comfortable beds and sofa, pet friendly. Really, anyone who complains about this property should travel some more in the UK to be able to properly compare and appreciate this property at its real value. 10/10.

Lovely property in well kept grounds with beautiful views and gardens

Location excellent for walks, and Salisbury. Wonderful views from patio.

Ruth and her husband were welcoming hosts. Arrival instructions were easy to follow. The parking was easy and the location is charming. We found the barn to be very cosy, warm and clean. The beds were very comfortable and there were mini toiletries available for use. Ruth had also prepared some bread, butter, jam and milk for the morning which was such an extra charm. We loved our stay and we would love to return again.

Property was finished to an excellent standard. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming.

Garden / living room had little privacy.
