The Old Stables

Lovely space for a family of 4 - it even has a mezzanine level extra bed which came in handy to split up our tween children. Beautifully kitted out throughout and has all the amenities you could want from self catering accommodation (including things like salt, pepper, sugar, soap etc). Ruth and Calum were very welcoming and responsive.

Nothing major - the downstairs shower could do with a screen to contain the splash from the shower and a small shelf would be handy for toiletries. As mentioned by others, the smell of the fabric is very strong, but that was really only the first night, it faded after that.

Absolutely beautiful location. Set on private land with stunning views. Felt very homely. Fully equipped kitchen with open plan lounge and dining, so great for family stays. Very comfortable furnishings and lovely decor. Practical having an upstairs & downstairs bathroom/shower room. The host was attentive and welcoming.

Super stylish. Lovely touches such as the little xmas tree. Milk, butter, bread and jam were a lovely touch. Calum and Ruth super responsive.

The fabric conditioner on the bedding and sofas was super strong. The road was a tad noisy but these are tiny things and I am being picky. It’s a lovely property.

Fantastic grounds, private

Clean and modern with everything to make the stay great. Lovely quiet location while still being close to Salisbury

The host is very helpful and responsive. They make us feel very welcome to their lovely house. Too bad we couldn't meet in person. They even provided us with some milk, bread with butter and jam.

The only thing I find uncomfortable is the strong fragrance (I guess is from the sheet). Since just a night stay, I do not want to trouble the host to change it. Everything else is perfect.
