Such a beautiful and special place! We loved our stay at Buaile nan Carn. The location and the views from the cottage were amazing! The host was wonderful; very welcoming, nice to talk to and quick to reply to any queries. The cottage was spacious, warm, and very comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need (the dishwasher and washing machine were a big plus). Everything was very clean. We didn't want to leave...!!

"spacious home in Nothern Skye"

spacious home, nice host, privacy, large well euipped kitchen, nice view, hiking trails nearby (short trails, but also the Trotternish highlights)

we booked this last-minute because our original booking in Portree was cancelled (medical emergency of owner) in high season. we had aimed to stay in a more central accommodation, and had to reschedule our plans, which was a pity for us, but has nothing to do with the cottage itself, but realise its location is really remote (the owners luckily sent a very clear and useful message with tips after booking).
