Buaile nan Carn

The host Catherine was very kind and shared lots of toys for our kids which they loved. The location is very remote but beautiful and on a working sheep and cow farm. The walk to the cliffs is close by and you're close to some major attractions on Skye. Seeing the sheep and other farm animals from the kitchen window was special.

No complaints, the house was cosy and comfortable with a fully kitted out kitchen etc.

This is a wonderful spot for a vacation! One sees the sea from the windows, the green countryside dotted with sheep, the moors in the distance. We loved the quiet and the comfort. The cottage has everything you need and is not far from Uig and Dunvegan Castle, as well as the Quiraing. It is excellent.

Washer but no dryer, which is often the case in Europe.

This house was perfect for our stay on the Isle of Skye. It was far North on the Island with beautiful views, sunsets, sheep right outside our windows. We loved all of that. Inside was clean, comfortable and great for our family of four. We cooked in the spotless kitchen with everything we needed. Slept comfortably in the beds, and enjoyed the living space as a home for three days. Parking was very easy right outside the home as well. We would love to go back there someday.

It is a remote, beautiful location. The apartment was very cosy and also the owners were very nice. Catherine and her husband were very helpful. We were greeted with a chocolate and some biscuits. I already miss the place.
