"Value stopover"

Perfect stop over for some walking, handy for Penrith, on 555 bus route, close to King's Head for meals and beer. Really good value for money for a night or two. Pleasant owner.

Nothing really not to like for what it provides.

The room felt very cosy and homely and was a good location for walks in the borrowdale valley. The breakfast was lovely, there was a good choice of things and we couldn't have asked for anything more!

Jean welcomed us in her beautiful house and made us at home. We could enjoy the lounge and visit. There was everything we needed. We were even treated to a welcome piece of home baked chocolate cake with our tea and fresh milk. Warm and spacious rooms beautifully decorated and clean. Super shower and soft towels. Lovely and quiet. Superb breakfast. Jean is a wonderful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
