"Unpleasant experience."

Ease of booking.

I found the room unkempt and with very limited hot water supply (which we were not informed about at the time of booking or check in). And we were provided with used bathing soap. We were shocked when the host informed us that she has been providing used bathing soap to her guests for the past thirty years. Tea bags were left on the window sill with hand written labels everywhere, even inside the breakfast cereal jars. The host was rude, sarcastic, and defensive. For the above reasons I had to vacate the room and cut short my stay.

"Fine for a single night, but wouldn’t go back."

Room was well equipped with microwave and fridge, if all a bit dated and ‘thrown together’ (microwave balanced on top of mini fridge, kettle on floor due to lack of sockets)

Breakfast quite disappointing compared to other Lakes B&Bs, felt like minimal effort put into it.
