The location is great.

The pictures online makes the place looks wow but in reality it's bad. The rooms didn't have air-conditioning that time it's 31 degrees at night. No TV no iron.

Nothing good about the property, everything on the we see here it’s the opposite. Except Nice the lady working at reception she tried her best but things are beyond her control. They will write a response on this review misrepresenting us as they do the place. We informed them that we have an additional person do they have space a day before our arrival they agreed and upon arrival looking at the state of the place we paid only for one night accommodation for that one person. Yet they informed booking.com we just showed up with an additional person something they knew a day before arrival. If you have booked here cancel whilst you still have time if you plan to book my advice is don’t you will be demoralised on arrival.

The family room we booked was a sea view, there was no see view in fact it looked like an old place that they have been fixing, it was still smelling paint which gave us severe headache which would have lead to sinuses. Only sleep for an hour and slept outside which was far better. The balcony they promised was not there it it was a door step/stoop which was still under construction. The room we booked and in the description should have come with a 1. Tumble dryer( no Tumble dryer was provided) 2. TV with channels (no TV ) 3. Towels ( no towels provided we asked waited only one was provided late afternoon in a room that sleeps four) 4. Toiletries (none was provide) 5. Kettle and tea facilities (none was provided) 6. For two beds only one side table 7. No balcony meaning even the outdoor furniture they promised was not there) 8. Iron ( in the entire resident they said no Iron is available) 9. Pictures of food you see I can only conclude they were stolen online because the is no such food. The background of the pictures if you are here you will realise it’s not the same place. 10. Toilets are leaking and the one’s in the first floor they don’t flush at all. 11. WiFi very weak and only accessible in the reception area 12. They refuse to cancel my request for the family room which means it should be ours until the period of the booking, the following day she calls request the key because she has new guest checking in. She is just scamming all of us and shows no regard in her action.

Absolutely no service! One wet towel for two persons! Bar closed. Rude owner/ manager. All fotos on the booking side are fake. Customers run straight from the beach into the kitchen and grab stuff out of the fridge......self-service. as I could see only two people working there....owner is sitting on the couch playing with the phone. No electricity, but not want to use generator. Klima in the room, but no remote control......a total disaster. Everything!!!!

Arrivée a l'hôtel a minuit..hotel fermé...pas de réponse.. attente plus d'une heure pour avoir qq un 😡 heureusement le taxi a été patient ! ! Situé au milieu de nulle part.. la personne qui nous a accueilli ne faisait pas partie du personnel...elle était sympathique mais totalement perdue.. pas de clim fonctionnant..une chaleur étouffante dans la chambre..wifi défaillant.. nous avons écourté notre séjour la bas, change d'hôtel. Le personnel du matin était gentil...ils n'y étaient pour rien.. c'est le ou la propriétaire qui n'a pas fait son job.. très très déçue 😞

The two ladies that work there run the place mostly on their own without much intervention from the owner/ manager. They honestly tried their best to make us happy and for the stay to be somewhat pleasant. The chef lady cooks great food.

The location is quite far from big attractions in Zanzibar and the hotel is situated in a very rural part of town. There were a number of things we were not happy about and were verbal about but nothing much was done by the manager. To name some of the problems: the place does not look like the pictures on Bookings.com, the place needs major upkeep (painting of the building and recovering of the beach cushions). Additionally, most days there were times with no power or water. Our air conditioner did not work, our toilet seat was broken, the toilet leaked and no one cleaned our room the whole time we were there. Also, we had to ask each night for the lights to be switched off in the passage or else we had full light in our room. When we arrived, the 1st few days we were told certain food/ drinks were not available but after complaining we had more access to a variety of food/ drinks. The people who work there are amazing (two ladies). However, management / owner needs to do better as this place has a lot of potential.
