Our 2nd time staying at the granary and both times have been lovely. The property is very clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable and all the little things have been thought about (tea towels, washing up liquid, etc) The area is very quiet and the parking is secure. Location is well situated and only took us a 20 minute drive to get into York city centre. Hosts were lovely and very organised!

Only slight issue is that the water pressure in the shower is low but this was explained in the welcome book so can't be helped.

Very nice place to stay with the kids. It was short weekend stay but we enjoyed it a lot, especially that was close ride to York which was our main destination. Very clean, comfortable beds. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.

Lovely cottage, very clean, extremely well equipped, with numerous added touches. Beautifullydecorated. Hot tub was great added extra. Very comfortable beds, overall a great property in a great location.

"Ideal for York"

Located in a beautiful, peaceful little villiage not far from York, the property was exactly what we wanted. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the place was thoroughly cleaned and there was lots of space. Fully equiped, the place even had bowls and cups etc for toddlers. Due to long days out and miserable weather, we didn't get round to enjoying the hot tub. That'll have to wait until next time.

The hot water pressure isn't amazing, but the hosts specify that and it wasn't an issue for us. The front door is a little stiff but I'm nitpicking.

The cottage was very clean, spacious, and quiet. It was well equipped and a great location to get to York, the Coast, the Howardian hills, Yorkshire wolds, and North York moors. There are various eateries within a reasonable distance.
