"Perfect get away."

Beautiful property. Warm and inviting with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were so comfy. Situated in a lovely quiet village, this made a great base from which to explore.

There was nothing to dislike.

"It was a lovey homely property ideal for a family."

It was a great location for trips to various tourist spots and York city, the designer retail park and shopping centre. The garden is huge so great for kids to get out and play. We liked the TV in the downstairs bedroom.

Nothing really, if I was being picky the hot water pressure is quite low but the owners acknowledge this and give you a couple of tips to manage expectations.

The property was in a quiet location with plenty outdoor space for family.

Whilst I understand the additional cost for the hot tub, it is disappointing that this isn’t a one off charge for the use for the duration of the stay. Instead you need to pay per back of logs which seems excessive. In addition, one towel (to dry your body with) was provided per guest meaning you had to either bring your own towel for the hot tub or use the bath towel. The seating in the living room wasn’t great and could have done with another proper armchairs seat for the 5th guest instead of a dining chair. Kitchen could also do with a couple more supplies such as a spare bin bag and a pair of scissors.

Very comfortable property, very clean and well furnished plus everything you’d need for your stay. Lovely comfortable beds. Off road secure parking, picturesque village location within easy driving time to the Moors, York, Malton, Pickering, Castle Howard etc.. Plus owners are on site and are very attentive.
