Vip Guest House

Dear Booking.com, I apologize for the delay in sharing feedback about my stay at VIP Guest House in Nashik on 20th November 2024. I had booked the room for my family, including a 1-year-old child. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that there was no lift service, minimal lighting, and the hotel was located in a secluded area. There were no other guests checked in, and we were the only ones there. Despite this, we decided to proceed since it was already late and we were exhausted after climbing the stairs. After payi bbing for two nights, we went to our room. In the room, we found that the sanitary conditions were inadequate, and there was no TV installed, even though the room shown in the booking had one. A couple of hours later, we noticed two couples entering the room next to ours, hiding their faces, staying for about 45 minutes to an hour, and leaving. This led us to suspect that the hotel might be used for escort services. We didn’t want to stay any longer, so we decided to check out the next morning. In the morning, we discovered that there was no water coming from the tap, breakfast was not provided, and towels and other bathroom essentials were missing. We ignored these issues, got ready, and left the room. Given the circumstances, we asked for a one-day refund as we were checking out before 11 AM. The receptionist initially argued but eventually provided a contact number, stating it was for Booking.com's customer care. I called the number, and the person assured me of a refund if we left the hotel. However, when I called again later, he asked me to share my screen via WhatsApp. I realized he was attempting to purchase Flipkart gift cards using OTPs sent to my phone,  I immediately ended the call. I have attached the contact number of this fraudulent person who was provided to me by VIP Guest House. I request Booking.

Thought was not value for money...could have given clean and good room.

Location

Be aware that they have a classic room photo on the website but actual rooms are different. So if you are booking thinking you will get the room mentioned in the website then forget about it.

Good

The location is superb. Enough parking area available. The restaurant is present in the hotel itself.

Rooms were not well maintained. No ceiling fan in both the rooms. Commode Jet sprays were not working in both the rooms. Requested for invoice multiple times but hotel manager still hasn't sent. When asked for a towel on the previous day, they said the towel will be available at 10 AM which was surprising.
