Unique period one bedroom house in Colchester

Having a whole small house in the centre of town was fantastic. A good sized living room, a well equipped kitchen downstairs, and a great sized bedroom, and a bathroom with both a bath tub and separate large shower upstairs. The house was warm and cosy, with some nice added extras (milk and biscuits in the fridge, plenty of tea and coffee options). It was a great location for the centre of town - everything was easily accessible, and it was tucked away, so noise was minimal.

No parking was only a minor issue, but the narrow one way street to get to the property made dropping off and picking up luggage a challenge. The bed was large and mostly comfortable, but a bit noisy if you are sharing with someone.

This is a lovely house in a great location, would definitely recommend.

It was cute and tastefully decorated

The property was charming, fully equipped and so very peaceful and quiet. I loved it. There was even fresh milk and some biscuits in the fridge which was a delightful touch and made me feel very welocme.

Everything! Decor was gorgeous, couldn’t fault it!!!

Everything was of a high standard. Bed for example was very comfortable. Has a homely cosy feel and I can imagine if I stayed there for about a week it would feel like a home away from home.
