Amazing view and very friendly hosts. Room seems relatively new.

We missed an AC. The room was quite humid. When showering the bathroom got really wet.

Beautiful property with the most amazing view into Ella Rock. Teesha and Varuna are an absolute delight and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. The room is clean and the bathroom is well sized. The bedroom is a little small and the shower was a little temperamental but no biggie whatsoever. The breakfast made by Varuna is fabulous, one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka. So many more good things to say - don’t miss out on this property in Ella.

One morning before breakfast on the balcony (amazing), it was being cleaned at around 7am which disturbed us, being right outside/above us. Otherwise amazing.

We had a lovely stay at Star Gaze Lodge in Ella! The property was beautiful, with amazing views from the terrace. It was in a great location, just a 5 minute scenic walk into the Hub of Ella. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and always happy to offer advice and recommendations of things to do and see in Ella. We felt right at home here.

The location is very good, near to Ella main street and The views are incredible. The staff is very friendly and they tried to help us in everything. They did our Laundry very professionally. The breakfast was really good and they let us use their kitchen to make our dinners which was very nice.

To mention something, we felt that we needed more space in our room. But regarding quality-price It was okey.

Pleasant accomodation surrounded by nature. Limited number of rooms make this place a special one. Teesha is a great host (she gave us great advices on what to do in Ella). Not to mention the amazing breakfast prepared by Varuna and served on the rooftop with very special view.

Room was a little bit tiny. Got some issues with the hairdryer (not working during our stay), although it did not turn out to be a big problem thanks to the good weather.

Nice couple running Star Gaze lodge including their staff. Nice breakfast too and very accommodating atmosphere. 10 min walk from Ella town and amazing view of Ella Rock.

Room was recently renovated Breakfast served in the terrace was awesome Hosts are friendly and super helpful (Honorable mention to the family dog)

We had an incredible stay at star gaze Lodge - I will be recommending it to friends when they come to Sri Lanka. One of the best things is the view of Ella rock - it is probably the best accomodation view in Ella. We stayed in the deluxe room and so had breakfast included every day - this was amazing as there were lots of options and having breakfast on the balcony amongst nature was lovely. Teesha (the owner of star gaze Lodge) was super friendly and helpful. My partner is gluten free and she and varuna (who was lovely and made our breakfasts) ensured that there were many options for him. Teesha gave us excellent recommendations and was very helpful for us organising some trips. We also had some very interesting conversations! All in all, an excellent stay - thank you so much :)
