The room is small but it worked just great for my husband and I. The shared kitchen was nice to have on our floor but could have used some more cleaning.

There is constant noisy from the freeway. There is no housekeeping unless you requested the night before. We would not stay here again.

"Unprofessional employee "

It was going well, had everything we needed, but the last day while getting ready to check out in an hour, someone unlocked our door and opened it. No knock or anything, extremely unprofessional, most likely the residential manager.

Room is extremely small and parking is an extra $25/day. Parking garage is tiny barely able to get out of car once parked. Location and staff were amazing and helpful.

We checked in and out afterhours and the detailed instructions that were provided made the process seamless. The property was cute, clean and quiet. The room was a nice size and again very clean. I will definitely book again when traveling to San Diego in the future!

Visited San Diego for a conference over the weekend, and needed an economical place to stay. Uptown Inn suited our needs perfectly for that. We were out of the room for most of the day and mainly needed it to sleep. Also used the shared kitchen which was clean as well. Given our needs, it was 5 stars.

Make sure to book the room that is on the other side of the building otherwise road noise will kill you.. Also no heaters in the room, you need to request one if you get cold, and those heaters make noise as well, if you are light sleeper like myself, good luck..
