The property’s quiet

We stayed in the room below the one advertised. The snug. We thought we were getting the room as advertised. We were wrong. The coffee cup was not clean and still had coffee in it. There was to pieces of rubbish next to the kettle that seemed to have chewing gum in it. The noisy pipes were horrendous and please look at the mattresses before you lie on the bed. Ours was so disgusting we couldn’t stay our full booking. I took photos because I’ve never seen a mattress so filthy. Felt physically sick tbh

Lovely secluded property with the amenities you would need for a 2 night stay. Silecroft beach is a 5-10 minute drive, gorgeous at sunset and not busy at all. 1.5 hour drive from Buttermere, Windermere, etc.

Slightly limited options for things to do in Millom. If you’re not looking for a slower paced “out in the sticks” place to visit, this isn’t for you.

I really like rural locations so for me big plus, very quiet, no neighbours, no disturbance

My GF's reaction to it. No but I didn't really have anything I didn't like, but if you don't have a car it would be a pain to get to

"Beautiful hidden location"

The room was brilliant with excellent views and a really hidden location. The town is near and had all of the facilities you need It's a great location for exploring the lakes Tea and coffee making facilities and the little fridge we're great. They even supply glasses and bowls for if you want to take your own breakfast items.
