This a fantastic place with comfortable tents. You can stay around the fire and watch million stars. Delicious food and breakfast. Staff so nice and friendly. Excellent value for money. Do not miss it!

I would highly recommend the Kambu Mara Camp for anyone looking to visit the Masaai Mara in a more affordable way compared to lodges within the park. The staff were great, the meals were delicious and filling (do opt for the nyama choma one night!) and the beds were the most comfortable of all! The comfort tents have a stunning view of the bush, and all the comforts of a spacious, glamping tent and hot shower. We also had a great bushwalk on the day of our arrival to stretch our legs and saw plenty of giraffes. The camp is a very short distance away from the park and we were able to leave the camp and enter the park within 30 minutes including some time to buy tickets. Perfect so that you're not paying park fees for the days you're not actually on safari! We booked our transfers and safari through the camp, they handled it all making the planning very easy and smooth - the transfer driver also allowed us to stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and for lunch on our way there. We had an incredible time and felt well looked after. Thank you to the whole team!!

The communication with the camp via email as they suggested on their website was a dead end. Although they offer several different tours, including one with an additional night at one of the lakes at another property, in the end we opted to just spend 2 nights at the camp as we could not get confirmation as to whether these were offered. They were responsive via the booking.com chat feature and reassured us once we had the booking that they could organise transfers and safari but until then we were left unsure what was possible. Closer to our stay we received plenty of details including our drivers WhatsApp which was helpful!

Great staff, nice seating area to eat and the rings are simple but nice. Not a luxury place, but great for the money and a nice experience. Staff was great and good was really good also

Hot water was was warm at best and was difficult to shower

The location is amazing, you can often see giraffes, zebras and other animals walk by. The staff was very helpful, especially Nelson! Would definitely recommend to stay here.
