Royal mansion in Unirii Square

Large accomodations located in the heart of Cluj Napoca. The bedroom and tub are exactly as shown in the photographs. A beautiful room with a window looking out onto an historic street facade. The tub works well, and seemed extremely clean with new fittings. The small kitchenette seems to be well appointed although I did not use it. I saw pots, pans, dishes, etc. Although the window looks out onto a busy road, there is virtually no traffic noise when the window is closed. For a couple, this apartment will be extraordinary once the mattresses is replaced. One of the bed spaces is a loft open to the master bedroom .

Written directions leave out crucial steps to find the apartment. Best to watch the video. The mattress is an experience. It has to be changed. Perhaps there is a translation problem, but the welcome letter from the host seemed surprisingly demanding and threatening. Perhaps they are recovering from unscrupulous guests. Water heater had to be located and temperature increased so that a shower was possible with more than lukewarm water.

We had an amazing stay in the Royal mansion. It never happened to me to have a bathtub in a bedroom!🥰 It was so much pleasure to get a hot bath with a candle. Everything in the apartment seemed thought through, and I felt that the needs were anticipated. It had all the equipment we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great night sleep. The location is excellent, close to cosy cafes and restaurants. The building itself is very atmospheric. The contact with the owner was very easy and kind. He made us feel very welcomed. It was one of the best, if not the best, holiday apartment stay for us 😊 thank you!

the owner advertises the apartment for seven people, which is impossible. We went to work at a festival, we wanted to stay nine days. We booked three rooms for six people. For two couples and two more people. that welcomed us: opposite the entrance, a few steps up, in the same space as the kitchen and dining room, a double bed. One of the couples was supposed to spend 9 days here. There is another sofa in the kitchen, which cannot be moved on when opened. then the kitchen opens onto the street-facing room with a bathtub that looks very attractive in the photos. A negligible aspect is that the bathtub cannot be used because there is neither a plug nor adequate water pressure, but the most interesting part comes next. from the many photos, it was somehow not clear that the third "bedroom" is also in the same space as this romantic room. So it was not possible to have sex, even though we are very active in this field, and intimacy was an important aspect when booking. I emphasize, we went for nine days. the next problem is the condition of the apartment. The shower is moldy, everything is worn and damaged, there are random holes on the walls. In the end, three of the 6 of us chose another apartment, which we were very satisfied with. I could list more problems, but I think this is enough.

The location is great, close to everything in the old center of the city. It was the only place with two rooms at a mezzanine in the center of the city. The photos looked amazing, but the reality was not 100% as pictured. I wish I knew what to expect going into the apartment. The owners were really nice though, the key access really easy.

The toilet was moving, and the washing machine made a noise. Also, there were no plates or bowls, cups, or anything that you could use if you would want to make a meal for yourself. If you like the idea of a hotel, then this is like that.
