Long journey from motorway. The area was rundown and this impression was reinforced by the security warnings at the entrance. The ground floor accommodation gave us a lack of privacy and it was necessary to keep windows shut in summer. The view of the river, which was across the road, was concealed by a high flood barrier. There was no TV, no hair dryer, no coffee machine. Paint work needed a wash. Plumbing in the bathroom was finished off poorly. The bathroom light came on during the night raising concerns about wiring. Though the property was basic at best, it is described as offering "luxury". The rating at 9 is totally misleading and makes it very difficult to have confidence in the rating system in future.

Riverside apartment very comfortable & clean. Great quiet location within short walk to the town centre. Exceptional helpful host. Great private kitchen/lounge area.

Maybe addition of a TV, but the town & company made up for this!

Everything you need was available. Very comfortable bed and very nice on suite. Warm and comfortable during winter stay.

Nothing, was a very nice new apartment. I would recommend a set of curtains on bedroom window rather than blinds maybe for more privacy.

Waseem was very helpful with check in, I arrived earlier than expected but he went the extra mile to help me check in without any issues. He came to check if everything was ok, I was given an extra radiator too as the weather was cold last week. I had a great stay, great location with ample parking right outside, and quick transport links to the motorway. Will definitely be staying again! Thanks Waseem
