Tranquil Retreat at River Valley Country Park

Accommodation was lovely but could have been cleaner. Had to hoover 2 or 3 dead flies and moths off carpet.

Location was isolated from restaurants and entertainment. Pubs in the nearest village don't serve food mid week, not within walking distance.

Really comfortable, clean property with everything that you need for a lovely stay. Really nice caravan on a quiet site.

Set in a peaceful location, surrounded by trees and fields along the river Hayle. Lovely quiet small park. You do need a car to get about, but you are close to all the Cornish tourists spots, 20 to mins drive to St Ives/Lands End. Only 10 mins to St Michael's Mount and Penzance. The accommodation is well equipped with essentials. The host Claire is always available if you need anything. We hope to return again soon. We will also recommend to friends and family. A little bonus was a fish and chip van that came on site on Saturday eve as there's no shops or cafe's on site. I believe it's every Saturday, you can check details at reception.

You are quite a distance from shops, so it's worth getting what you need when you're out and about to save going out again. We did know this, and we were prepared, but this might help others depending on what you want from a holiday stay. There are no negatives about Claire's accommodation. It has everything you need.

We were very relaxed and comfortable. The place and the surroundings were lovely. Nice neighbours.

Lack of proper WiFi within the caravan. We had to go out to be able to communicate.

The location was perfect for all the attractions we wanted to visit. Claire was the perfect host, and the little touches were just perfect! A bottle of wine in the fridge and some coffee pods for the coffee machine, even some dog treats for your furry friends. The accommodation was super comfortable and modern and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The decking surrounding the van, plus outside seating was just an added bonus!
