Huge set of the rules - do, don't, posters everywhere. Together with the owners constant presence (they live here too) we felt somehow under control, not serene. I believe it is fine to set the rules but it is not necessary to have as the only decoration on the walls do's and don't You need to sign that the owner has right to go inside after you went out that you turned off air con and lights (means each time not at the check out only) There were the chains and locks everywhere in the kitchen. The landlady told us that we have right to this and that,not the rest One of the 3 rooms was locked - but we book 3 room villa... the lady didn't want to make it It is literally in the middle of nowhere. Nice calm place but it is difficult to get tricycle, there is only one restaurant within walking distance There is no washing machine although it is mentioned in the listing - you can ask the lady to make a machine for you for 290php. We didn't use the activities booking as it was extremely overpriced If you want to go out, you need to ask the owners to let you in and out. No option for going on your own. My husband wanted to go out early morning for walk, fortunately it was low tide and he could walk on the beach. When he returned, water was higher and he had to go via the gate. The landlord refused to let him in because he doesn't recognise him...well...

Beautiful outlook from the property. Very homey feels like you are staying with family. Owners are part of the family with genuine interest in your stay.

Limited restaurants around if you’re looking for dining options.

I want to start by saying that I never knew it was possible to rent a villa of such quality and with such a view for such a reasonable price. The villa featured spacious rooms, cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. Our adventure began when we arrived in Bohol late at night without any reservations, planning to find accommodation near the area where whale shark tours are conducted. We opened Booking.com and discovered this beautiful villa just 15 minutes away from the whale sharks. However, we overlooked one important detail: the check-in time was no later than 8 PM. As a result, we managed to make a reservation, but we essentially put the villa hosts in a difficult position by arriving at 10:20 PM. This was not the most considerate action on our part, especially since the hosts were already resting. Nevertheless, they graciously opened the doors for us, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Paul and his wife for their kindness. The next morning was simply delightful. I saw the villa in all its glory; it is located right on the beachfront, has a pool, and is surrounded by lush green lawns and swings under the palm trees—words cannot describe it. Paul and his wife prepared us wonderful coffee and informed us that we would be allowed to skip the lines for the whale shark tour, as Paul had already made arrangements while we were sleeping. What was truly remarkable was that wherever we went for excursions, we were greeted warmly and offered discounts, thanks to Paul’s arrangements with everyone along our route. It was an unforgettable experience. I want to express my immense gratitude to you, Paul, and your wife, for your care and everything you did for us. If I return to Bohol, it will only be to stay with you. Thank you once again, with great respect. Ivan

Paul and Koi were fantastic hosts. We were well taken care of. Paul is a lot of fun and knows the area very well. Don't miss swimming with the whale sharks!

It’s a beautiful setting.

We arrived very late and just didn’t have time to organise food, and the shops were shut.

Wonderful place at the first line near the ocean. The hosts were charming people, and Paul met us at the airport and took us to many interesting places in Bohol. The rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen had all we needed. We like to prepare our food; every afternoon, we can buy fresh fish, vegetables, and fruits. We had no desire to go to the restaurant. It was low tide, but coming along the beach and swimming in the deep sea was an excellent experience.

The attention to detail of the littlest things and designs

Nothing the property and the owners were very pleasant, warm and friendly. It was beyond expectations

Exeptional This place is awesome! The beautiful Beach Villa itself is direct located on the sea with fresh air breeze. The Villa has all kitchen appliances, pots and pans, plates etc. It's stocked with pretty much anything you need to cook yourself. But also restaurants are nearby. We swimmed in the pool as well as in the ocean direct in front of the house. The pool is just fantastic with an incredible view to the ocean. The house and the garden are well maintained. Koy and Paul were both great hosts, they made us feel comfortable from arrival to departure. Paul was also our tour guide and made sure we had a good experience of Bohol. He has a big SUV, which is much more comfortable than the ordinary vans, picked us straight up from the airport and brought us to a huge supermarket to buy groceries before he drove us to the Beach Villa. The main attractions of Bohol like the chocolate hills, tarsiers, hanging bridge, zip line and waterfalls are not too far away. The whale sharks are not even 10 Minutes away. High recommened staying there. Great experience all around and great place to relax in after sighseeing nearby and wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again because the time was too short. Thank you for everything. See you hopefully soon again.
