Thaba eNtle Private Boutique Game Farm

The only thing to rave about at this Game Farm is the restaurant staff & food! Though their breakfast menu has no variety, but the Ciabatta bread is to die for. Not to mention their steak and kudu wors. The food was so good, we even took take aways when we checked out.

False advertising and marketing - The Game Farm leads with marketing their Mountain Pods rooms which are located at the very top of the mountain however when you get to the farm, they offer a Villa room which is not even worth half the money paid. I was so disappointed since it was my wife's Birthday and when we made our reservations, Booking.com did not even have an option for a "Villa room". When we probed this mismatch with the receptionist, she mentioned that its not their fault but Booking.com. She even went further that they even have a variety on the farm such as The Shack, The Bush Suites, Wood Deck and the Mountain Pods which we thought we had booked. To our shock we discovered the only have two Mountain Pods but yet their advertising and marketing only feature Mountain Pods (nothing about the "Villa Room" and other accommodation choices they have. What was even more disappointing, the Game farm is known as Thaba eNtle which loosely translates into beautiful mountain, you would expect that they have hiking trails around the mountain, but their hiking trails proved to be a damp squib since you just walk around the farm with no interesting scenery. Overall this farm offers nothing except good food but disappointingly baits people by advertising rooms that you will never get since the receptionist told us their two Mountain pods are popular and never available! Their Villa Rooms are not worth the money they charge and needs some paint (see picture). You would even expect to get two small bottle water in the room and tea bags but no, you only get a coffee machine. The same rooms when you switch on the aircon, the main switch trips the electricity of the whole lodge and then the receptionists acts as if its the new problem they know nothing about.
