BEBeautiful, modern apartment with an amazing view over fields and hills. Kitchen is well equipped and the living area is large with very comfortable sofas. The bathroom has a great walk-in shower. The location is perfect for hikes in Brecon Beacons National Park, but also to go for dinner in the evening (5 minutes to a great restaurant down the street and 15 minutes to Brecon).
Because we were on a long road trip, we would have loved a washing machine at the apartment.

ITWe absolutely loved our stay at The Slow House Apartments! The place is new, spotless, and so welcoming that we immediately felt at home. The view of the Black Mountains from the big window is breathtaking – we could have spent hours just watching the light change over the hills. We really appreciated the eco-friendly choices like the solar panels, heat pump and water harvesting system – it’s wonderful to see such care for sustainability and comfort. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, surrounded by beautiful nature. We wish we could have stayed longer!

GBThe view is stunning and the property is very modern. Kitchen is well equipped, coffee and milk are all provided. Freer the host greeted and showed the apartment when we arrived. He is so friendly and accommodating. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We can’t wait to be back in the future.
Everything was perfect except the guests upstairs that woke us up at 1am with their loud noise and having karaoke in the middle of the night.
NLHet is een mooi gelegen, zeer comfortabel appartement met een fantastisch uitzicht. Ruim en met veel smaak verbouwd en ingericht. Tijdens Covid werd deze voormalige stal door de eigenaren verbouwd met aandacht voor duurzame energie en milieu. Het grote raam met het uitzicht op de bergen, de luchten en het veranderende licht is prachtig.

GBThe huge window with the incredible view was better than any TV screen! Watching the moon rise over the mountains and then the sun rise the following day was awe inspiring. I love that the property is so environmentally friendly. I loved walking to the little church nearby. The property is also a short drive from Hay on Wye which has so much charm. Freer was the perfect host. What more can I say, this place is a gem!
