Bujak Permai Villa Matahari Lombok NTB

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. The room was spotless, super comfortable bed, with amazing bathroom and hot water. The views over the rice fields from the room and the porch were stunning, complemented by a perfect breeze that made it incredibly relaxing. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. The hosts are really sweet, welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy and took us on a wonderful tour of the village and nearby waterfalls. Highly recommended!

There are many mosques around and sometimes gets noisy. But still loved the place!

Best local experience ever!!! Mr Hero, Joe and Jay took care of us like we were family. They showed us amazing places with no tourists around: school, local market, art studio, secret waterfalls… They are the loveliest people. If you are looking for a real local experience, this is it! The rooms are very spacious, confortable and clean, with amazing views on rice fields in the country side. Great breakfast also! We will visit again for sure! Thanks so much, we miss you already

The situation right next to the rice fields is a real treat. The wooden houses are carved and truly beautiful. The staff was very kind and attentive during the whole stay. Jo welcomed us and took us through the rice fields telling us about the life in the village. His friend Adi came along and we could exchange in english and german a little bit. We met Heru the manager the following morning and he could tell me a lot about the local edible and medicinal wild plants. He knows a lot about their medicinal uses and has been using them for himself. He offered to take us on excursions but unfortunately we had already a booked activity. I hope we can come back to Bujak Permai Villa and next time we will be very happy to plan a waterfall and wild plants walk excursion with Heru! We also met Adi’s brother (on Insta: sanjagianara_)who is a young and great painter, his art is impressive, colorful and touching. He is excellent at catching people and moments in his portraits. Well…. all in all a very enriching experience full of happy encounters! I recommend a stay at Bujak Permai Villa Mata Hari if you wish to get insights of real countryside life on Lombok.

Scooters or taxi is necessary for mobility.

We loved our one night stay with Hero, Ami and Danny - these guys were very friendly and funny. They made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The room was lovely and clean with a beautiful view over the rice fields and had a comfortable bed. Banana pancakes were delish and plentiful. The guys took us to a local traditional market and barber. We learnt a lot about Lombok and Indonesian culture - they even offered for us to come to the Monday afternoon english classes with local school kids. Terima kasih 💛💛
