Bujak Permai Villa Matahari Lombok NTB

Our room opened onto a deck above a rice field. The staff were happy to do anything they could to assist. The staff took us to a local school to help the kids with their English. It was a wonderful couple of hours.

The hosts were really great, very helpful, and made excellent breakfasts each mornings for us. They were super friendly and all round great guys. While at the villa you can have your alone time inside, but also socialise with the hosts and other guests (from the other villa) in the communal area. We grew to really love staying at the villa much more than we thought we would and would definitely go back.

When we stayed it said there was air conditioning but only had a fan. We could hear rats in the ceiling but we had no trouble with them by just putting food in a safe space overnight. The sheets were also a little bit dirty and had no cover on the blanket.

We stayed 4 nights in this property and it was my best experience from my whole trip in Indonesia. Hero and Dani are the best hosts ever, they like to share the sasak culture and teach a lot of things about traditions, food, everything… We met a lot of local people, even participated to a traditional wedding, went to teach English to children, it was so enriching. We felt like a part of a big family. I will miss you guys, I hope I could come back to see you again. Don’t hesitate to go in this place, I recommend 100 % !

Nothing wrong to say, everything was perfect

Most friendly hosts I have ever met. Anang (the host) speaks fluent dutch which was a pleasant surprise. He and his family are unbelievable kind and will treat you as family. I got the opportunity to go to their local school and even got to hand out some diplomas:) Hero is a really smart guy who showed me around for the two days I was there. He is super kind and really hard working. Thank you guys! Highly recommend going there!

Beautiful view over the Sawah. We stayed only one night, in transfer towards the airport but really enjoyed the room and the balcony. Owners are very kind with many stories about the surroundings, and go above and beyond to accommodate visitors in their experience.

The property brings you the opportunity to feel a diferente and unique experience. Having the chance to meet local people and real contact with the culture. Heru was a very nice person, he took care of every single detail and ensure our time there was amazing.

Nothing to complain

The accomodation is lovely. Located in a beautiful area, surrounded by rice fields. The hosts were very caring and the breakfast very tasty. We also did a scooter trip to waterfalls which was a highlight for us.

Loved the villa ! It is in a village and adjoins rice fields and is mosquito free inspite of that. Wonderful care taking by Pak Heru and Adi ! They can take care of all your issues. As a veggie, i least expected eggless banana pancakes here. A great place to relax and unwind !

Amazing, peaceful location set in a small village amongst the rice fields. All of the staff are so friendly and kind and went out of their way to help us when my husband was unwell and we ended up needing to stay for an extra night. The beautiful views across the fields are stunning all day but especially at sunset, with lots of birds and wildlife to spot from the balcony. Special thanks to Adang who showed us around the rice fields and helped us to plant an avocado tree, this was a lovely experience and one that we will remember from our time in Lombok. We will be back one day to see how our little trees have grown. Breakfast was really good and we would recommend this as a great central location to anyone looking to explore Lombok. Huge thanks to everyone at Villa Matahari who helped to make our stay exceptional.
