Cool and Chic Duffield Road Apartments

we were based at the apartment for work, so nice & clean with all the facilities that we needed for the stay

The Wi-Fi was not working the first day/ night we were staying, when enquired about it we were given the password for the flats below Wi-Fi. No locks on the bathroom doors Rubbish blocking the parking spaces, had to remove to park in the space.

The beds were comfy and the layout of the flat was good for our family. The location was great; walking distance to our friends and to city.

The apartment is located on a very busy road. You could hear traffic noise with windows closed. The apartment needs lots of work. Every room looks scruffy and in need of painting. Lots of the furniture wobbly of broken. Sofas in lounge have ill-fitting cushions and dining table only had 3 chairs, even though booking was for a family of 5. Kitchen was ill-equipped and dishwasher didn't work. Only 1 bin bag for an 8 night stay. Shower in main bathroom broken, had to hold shower head. Shower in upstairs bedroom only about 4 foot tall as fitted into eaves. Toilet seat broken. Doorbell buzzer also broken, had to go down 2 flights of stairs to let people in.

The bed was comfortable, everything was easy to access.

The lock to get into the property we had trouble with, it was difficult to open. The toilet seat was loose, almost came off a couple times and generally not much space in the bathroom.

There’s only 2 parking spaces for 4 rooms

It was close to the city center, walking distance, and St Mary's church, with its light up bridge.

The living room and kitchen were small, and the tv couldn't watch anything but cable. The shower would run cold in the middle of your bath.
