Las Casitas Village at El Conquistador

Las Casitas was an absolute beautiful and peaceful stay. The staff was welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. The room and facilities were clean and accessible and there are many things to do for everyone on the resort.

Gorgeous property. Gorgeous views. Can’t go wrong.

The resort is beautiful and there is a lot to do with kids of all ages. The water park and Palamino island are great days. The service was pretty poor. Our room was clean when we got there but it was not properly cleaned throughout our stay. We found glasses and mugs that were dirty in the sink were just put back in the cabinet without being cleaned. It was very busy during Presidents week so there were waits for most things. We will definitely be back. It’s a beautiful resort if you have sufficient patience.

Water heater was off never hot water

Several swimming pools to choose from, a water park with slides and a lazy river. Apartments are clean and nicely appointed.

I had booked an apartment with garden view and received one with view to the parking lot and the back of other apartments. The feeling of the casitas village was more urban than I had anticipated from the photos during the booking process. The hot tub did in the casitas village did not work and had not been working for some time which I found out when asking around. When I enquired directly about when the repair would be done, I was informed that no repairs would not be done during my week long stay. Before departure, I asked my the point person assigned to me with any questions arising during my stay (called butler, not sure why as there was no butler function) to please send help with my suitcase on departure day. Unfortunately nobody showed up at the requested time to help me up and down the staircases, there was no elevator. Given that I spent close to $900 per day including taxes and resort charges totaling over $6000 my expectations were high and I was very disappointed. This was the most expensive vacation I had ever planned and very much looked forward to. I mentioned the disappointment in regards to the lack of view at the reception and was told that if I wanted a different view in the future I should book directly with the resort and not over a third party. No apologies or offers from reception to cut the charges due to the misleading description of „garden view.“

Very nice place. Beautiful location

The accommodations were great. The food was expensive and not great at the resort and the service was painfully slow (but that’s true throughout much of Puerto Rico). We had a great stay overall!

Very spacious villa and great views. The butler service was very good and lots of amenities in the resort/hotel area. We enjoyed the complementary water park, ferries to palomino island private beach, etc.

It was great from the start to the end.
