Quirky mid century themed holiday home

We loved our mini break at this wonderful vintage themed place. Super comfy beds and well looked after property. Before our stay I read in a review about the 2nd bedroom without a window and didn't know what to expect, but there was no need to worry as there is a window from the bedroom into the kitchen which you could leave open and there are windows in the kitchen. The Info for the garbage/recycling disposal was very helpful. Very nice host.

Logement vintage très agréable, à proximité de chez nos enfants. Nous le connaissions déjà et nous serions prêts à y séjourner à nouveau s'il est libre au moment de notre visite à nos enfants.

Il faisait relativement chaud dans l'appartement surtout dans la partie vitrée, mais les propriétaires avaient mis à notre disposition un ventilateur.

Great base for touring Somerset. Had great days out .The house was cosy, clean and fully equipped. The local pubs for food were great, especially The Natterjack. Glastonbury very close by and Stonehenge. East Somerset Railway is worth a visit

No complaints. Great holiday all round, and the owners are lovely 😍 👌

50’s theme was different

We took our dogs with us and that’s what attracted us to the property. Garden wasn’t very secure. Owners had rented this property out to us and decided to have people come around to view the property the next day morning saying they were trying to sell. I’m sorry but if that’s the case they shouldn’t have rented the property out. We had no choice but to take our dogs with us the next day.

Loads of character and near the centre. The host came to see us and was very friendly . The place was spotless and had good facilities.

The second bedroom did not have an outside window making it hot in the weather conditions

We loved the 50’s theme of the house combined with the modern kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds and clean throughout

Unique property with wonderful vintage decor. Friendly hosts. Would be very happy to return for a second visit.

It’s quirkiness, the location, parking, facilities. We will be going back.

I think they need a different blind in the kitchen for privacy.
