Quirky mid century themed holiday home

I loved everything about this property, as it was perfect for me and my children and not forgetting my Cockerpoo. We enjoyed our stay very much, as we had everything we needed and loved the quirkiness of the place. The fields opposite are a huge bonus when taking a pet (and children!) also Collett Park with its play equipment, which is about a 1 minute walk away and don't forget the property comes with a garden!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Quirky, comfortable & clean. Good parking and easy access. Top quality bed linen and towels (very important!)and exceptionally comfortable bed. Lovely owners- friendly, helpful but not intrusive. A great stay! Would recommend!

The 1950s vibe

We loved the unique decor, with mostly orginal retro items. This was balanced with modern facilities in the kitchen and bathroom, which made the stay easy as well as fun. The hosts were lovely. Beds and chairs comfortable. For those with a dog, you can access a small garden from the main bedroom and there is a lovely park a 2 minute walk from the door. Great location for visiting Wells, Glastonbury, Bath etc. Supermarkets very close too. We would love to return.

Nothing, but I do want to highlight as the living room is a conservatory, when we visited it was in the mid 20s and the living room was too hot to sit in until the evening. This is by no means a complaint about the property or hosts, who had provided a fan and obviously couldn't do anymore, my reason for mentioning is for those vulnerable to heat related health issues.

The home was like staying in a museum, every cabinet had an artifact. My son loved going around and finding all the things to see. My dad grew up in that era and felt at home, he wanted to stay longer! Everything was well stocked and I appreciated the modern kitchen and bathroom. It was easy to turn up and leave with the key in the lockbox. The location was brilliant for the main Somerset attractions.

My Dad said the small bedroom wasn't particularly comfortable but other than that I don't have anything bad to say.
