Cosy apartment in popular harbour town

The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The extras like a dog bed, lead, towels and bowls were most pleasing to see, as were things like the tea, coffee and sweeties. There are board games and books provided in case of rubbish weather or boredom. The sofa bed was really comfortable and the shower was powerful and invigorating. In all, it was a wonderful stay away. We had a lovely meal at The Kirkcudbright Bay and we watched the Ride of the Marches too which was very enjoyable.

We can seriously only complain about the noise of the early hours as we heard some shouting and arguing the first night and the second night there was a group of teens drinking in the street below. Other than this, no issues whatsoever.

The spectacle shelves beside the bed! Brilliant! The fans - 2nd floor attic flat with unheard of hot weather ( for Scotland) was a lifesaver. Well appointed and comfortable. The new sash windows which were easy to open!

Didn't affect us but an extractor fan in the shower might be useful for the owners. Not really an issue but we thought it came with its own parking; tricky in the day to park nearby but not a problem in the evening and it was free on street

I fell in love with this apartment as soon as I opened the door and made my way up the staircase! "Cozy" is an apt word because this spot was so comfortable and spacious. This was a great place and town to use for a several day stay to explore the area.

Options for dining in Kirkcudbright were very limited early in the week. Since the kitchen was more than adequate, I comfortably made do and did have an excellent meal at one of the local hotel restaurants.

Great breakfast. James was so lovely - nothing was a problem. Young lady serving breakfast was so lovely too! Such a great place.

The apartment is immaculate and beautifully presented with just about everything you will need for a stay in Kirkcudbright.

Nothing, it was perfect

The location was great! And it was very clean. The big fluffy bath towels were a nice surprise as usually towels provided are often very small.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. Also, the cupboard where all the plates, glasses, etc was really tricky to access for someone without good knees.

A very good location to explore Kirkcudbright with on-street parking outside. All the shops, galleries, harbour and other places are an easy walk from the front door. Dog friendly accomodation.

Fabulous little apartment in the town centre. Was well equipped even a doggy supplies and bed.
