Cosy apartment in popular harbour town

We loved this cosy apartment. Had everything we needed and more for a couple nights stay. Very clean and well equipped. Great location would highly recommend. Sofa bed was big enough for two adults, plenty duvets/ blankets very comfortable. Clear instructions before arriving and again once inside. Kirkcudbright is a lovely little harbour town, lots of little craft / tourist shops, cafes etc.. locals were very friendly, welcoming and a lot of places were dog friendly too.

The entrance way to the apartment was a little questionable as we walked to the bottom of the stairs....but what a surprise to find such a beautiful cosy apartment at the top of the stairs.

Wasn’t sure about paying for electricity but we didn’t need to in the end but we were careful

This is our second time staying and it was just as fabulous as the first. It really is a special little apartment with wonderful views from the window, the cosiest of comfortable vibes and a fantastic location!!! It is a little home from home ❤️

Perfect location , very clean Everything was provided, I had brought my own stuff thinking it was needed but Carol provided everything I had thought of. Washing up liquid, toilet roll, coffee, sugar, tea, salt, sauces. Hand soap, shampoo, body wash

Nothing we didn’t not like

The property was exemplarily clean and had everything you might need. The host was very polite and easy to reach. The bed was very comfy and there was a brilliant collection of menus from the local restaurants and take-aways. I hope to be able to return in future.

I only wish we could have stayed longer.

It was exactly as described- a very comfortable apartment in Kirkcudbright town centre. This is a bustling and lovely town but the flat was quiet. Although we normally like access to outside space, we had the next best thing - a view over the streets, but facing west over the countryside, with a view over the river. The apartment was really well equipped and we had no trouble parking in the street right outside the main door. The town is in a great location for exploring Dumfries & Galloway which has a great range of attractions, and varying countryside to suit all tastes and abilities.
