Lovely place, very cute and cosy. We will definitely be returning in the winter to enjoy the hot tub and log burner! Lovely and helpful host and great facilities. Close to Castle Coombe for an evening stroll or drinks

Nothing to do with the property but we came during a heatwave so in the night we were quite warm so definitely leave windows and doors open as much as possible when you are there if you come in the summer.

Owners were very friendly. We were the only ones staying out of all 3 huts at the time. We hired the hot tub too which was very nice, perfect temperature for an evening in December 😂 Would definitely come back with the kids next time to enjoy the open space, the fire pit, bbq and picnic area. Highly recommended

OMG I’m completely converted I didn’t think Shepard’s but were for me but booked because the location was good. But wow I can’t wait to return - so cosy so clean it felt like home Alison the host is so warm and welcoming The hot tub is superb and the bathroom facilities so good with a proper loo and the shower is lovely Shampoo shower gel towels everything provide The beds are so comfortable too I really suffer with a bad back but not in these beds!

I loved everything honestly everything I travel a lot and not kind on travelling and holidaying in the UK but this place has changed my mind

Stunning rural, off grid property. Beautifully presented and such fun. Really allowed you to embrace off grid life whilst having all the creature comforts. If you love stargazing in a wood fired hot tub to eating marshmallows round an open fire then retreating to a cozy and comfortable bed, then this place is for you. Your host is absolutely delightful and proud of her huts and rightfully so….it’s beautiful! We will definitely be back again and again!

Warm welcome with complete tour around facilities. Fires were pre-lit and ready for us to use straight away! There is everything you could need already there including games, kitchen ware, cosmetics like shampoo etc. blankets, Bowls and bed for dog! I couldn’t rate this enough and definitely will be back!

A completely secure fence around the paddock would be a lovely addition to keep all animals safe and a peace of mind that our mental city dog wasn’t going for his own walk without us!

We had such a wonderful stay in the shepherds huts. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and we arrived to find the huts already warmed and the hot tub ready to enjoy. Everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided onsite, even charming little sauna hats that made us laugh. The huts stayed beautifully warm throughout our November evening, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, giving us a truly restful night. One of our highlights was gathering around the fire pit under the stars, which made the experience feel magical. My dog was also warmly welcomed, with her own bed provided, and she clearly had just as good a time as we did. It was such a joy to find a place that cared for every detail, making the stay relaxing, cozy, and memorable for me and my best friends.

We loved the attention to detail, the shepherds hut was perfect in every way, very well equipped and extremely clean and comfortable. Situated in a convenient location within walking distance to the village, there is nothing not to love. The wood fired hot tub was super relaxing after a long day exploring and was prepared for us during our stay. Allison is a lovely welcoming host, nothing was too much trouble.

Peaceful location and beautifully finished. Hot tub is a complete winner!
