The shower wasn’t working, which is really bad

Within walking distance of Cardiff and the owner was really polite and quick to respond to questions, helping us park nearby in a more secure location.

The apartment is dated and situated above a shop on a busy road in studentville. There was an aroma of tobacco throughout our stay which probably came from the shopkeeper below who was stood in his doorway chain smoking. The windows don’t shut properly and as it’s on a busy road there’s privacy cellophane on them so there was no view out to be had. There was a large cobweb in the kitchenette and the whole apartment is in desperate need of a revamp otherwise I would say it was clean and ok. Although, I’ve never had a bed made with sheets not being turned in before so I guess they were maybe too small but otherwise I found it comfy for one night although our friends said theirs was very hard. I had messaged the owner about some of the comments I’d read about the toilet seat etc, they were really helpful, I’m not sure what happened but apart from again the bathroom needing a very good makeover it’s just old and used and needs regrouting and repainting! For the price and the type of stay we wanted which was to just sleep and go without actually staying in, it served its purpose. It’s not somewhere I’d like to hang out in.

I was very impressed with this accommodation, it's spacious, in a good location. Good value for money. The streets abit noisey but that come with the choice of location. I would definitely book this place again. Thank you
