The Brooks Hotel Restaurant and Lounge

Excellent job on the remodel!!

Nicely renovated historic hotel in heart of town. Restaurant on premise. Walk to shops & restaurants. Easy parking, great comfy bed. Small room but cozy & everything you need was there. I highly recommend.

We got the kitchenette and it was very roomy and we cooked for 6 of us for two days. Middle of town. Very walkable.

Restaurant was slow for ordering and service. The waitress s not Ty attentive. Never refilled our drinks and I had to hunt her down to get the bill.

Great location, really nice decor, nice large size room, and clean. Only suggestion would be to include extra blankets, and have the heat be able to turn on. Even though it was summer, it was cold at night.

Historical and quaint

Wallace is a wonderful place to visit if you're a history buff or enjoy western architecture or the great outdoors--lots to see and do. And the Brooks Hotel is the perfect spot to call home base. The rooms are very clean, quiet, and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The complimentary drink in the lounge was a nice touch, and while I didn't try the breakfast, it looked and smelled great (if you haven't had huckleberries you really should). I didn't need the AC but that was available along with TV that had lots of movies, and check-in was a breeze. All the staff was exceedingly friendly, which was the case for literally everyone I met in Wallace. I hope to return and do some more exploring of the area.

Great location in a uniquely preserved old mining town. The room was small but clean. Plenty of restaurants and pubs.

There is no reason to stay anywhere else when in Wallace! This adorable, convenient and historic hotel has it all and is particularly quiet for an older establishment. Emily is a superb hostess and runs the place beautifully and efficiently. It is absolutely worth it to rent the "Madame's Suite" - a Victorian boudoir that will take you back in time and is extremely comfortable (the bed is really comfy and the giant tub is exquisite)! Absolutely DO have breakfast in their little brunch diner as the food is cooked-to-order and delicious - probably the best breakfast in all of Wallace. The location is so convenient that you will not have to move your car from the parking lot if you are going to stay in Wallace but if you venture out, know that the parking is ample when you do come back. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and loved The Brooks. We will definitely be back!!
