The Brooks Hotel Restaurant and Lounge

I loved how the town and hotel had intermingled history, both were beautiful, and made me feel like I was a kid again. It's like going back 50 years in time. Kids ride bikes downtown at night. There were a few teens playing catch with a football next to the courthouse.. patrons in the pub were totally welcoming. Third generation owners really care and are revitalizing the rooms.

I felt for the town losing its mining company in the 80's... Recently 300 miners returned, so there may be an economic influx, but they lost 3000. They cater to tourists now. There's a famous bicycle path that starts here... The Hiawatha!!??

Right in town walk to everything. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Old world charm with updated room features.

No elevator

The Brooks is our favorite place to stay while in Wallace. It is perfectly located in downtown Wallace. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless . The updates make it even more comfortable and special. Thank you!

Good food and drinks and location for walling

Only a couple lights and the Placement was not great.. no a/c working. And registration text email had us checking in said breakfast was included

Best experience in ages. Walked in after dark in the middle of a snowstorm after the power had been out for 24 hrs in the area and the receptionist was friendly, kind and informative. All the restaurants were closed due to the power outage, but she knew of one that wasn't. The room was clean, cozy and comfy. Just what we wanted. Reasonablely priced. The next morning ate at the restaurant and the service was stellar (the waitress anticipated every need of ours) and the food was delicious. We will be back. On par with the Sacajawea inn in Three Forks Montana.

Breakfast was excellent but would have been much better if included in price. Complimentary drink and hors d'oeuvres were a nice touch. Location was perfect for our ski destinations.

the Madame suite was nicely renovated and very cozy. Loved the invitation to the lounge as well, cute!And absolutely loved the dog friendly!
