"An excellent historic stopover on a road trip!"

I used to always shoot through Wallace on my way home to Montana from Portland, so was happy to finally spend a night. Comfy, central, historic hotel, but with refurbished rooms...we called from the road to notify a late check in and the woman on the phone was very helpful and friendly, organizing an easy check in upon arrival. (And we immediately walked a few doors down for a nightcap at the Metals Bar.) I gave myself an early morning historic walking tour...lots of stories connected to Wallace! We tried a local coffee shop instead of the attached restaurant in the hotel building, but it looked inviting for a full breakfast option. Big thumbs up for the Brooks Hotel.

The room was perfect. Lots of space and things looked updated. It was great having the second bed in a different room. I will be honest I was surprised at how nice it was.

I cannot think of one single thing I would change. It was a great location in a small town with walking distance to everything. And it was a great price. Just keep doing what you are doing.
