The Brooks Hotel Restaurant and Lounge

I loved this hotel! It was. The rooms remind me of European hotels and were smaller than most US hotels but were complete with microwave and fridge. Bath was tiny but show head was POWERFUL and gave me a unique experience. I liked it a lot

Apparently they are in the process of remodeling. We got a very small unregistered room. No lamps, only one chair, stained rug, bed was fine. Just disappointing to see the lovely pictures and to get a drab room. Sink didn’t drain without pulling the plug. No towel racks, just the clothes rack, of course no breakfast. Was our least attractive hotel and the most expensive on our trip. Neat little town with very little competition for hotels.

The room was easy access for walker support. Room was smallish but really cute and very functional. Hotel was very nice and so were the staff. Recommended a restaurant for dinner that we really enjoyed. I

Their central A/C was out in our area of hotel. They had put window units in as temp fix. They worked fine, but you could hear every sound outside. Thankfully it was quite by midnight. . Fortunately they had techs there the next morning so pretty sure that issue has been addressed.

Staff was super helpful and fun!

Older facility with smaller rooms but have all the amenities, fridge, microwave, etc. Very quiet and comfortable. Love the cookies! Very nice people.
