Super cute place, very clean, great bed, good bathrooms. Kitchen has all that is needed. The host works downstairs and is available when needed. Easy parking in the town within walking distance.

A beautiful old house in a lovely village with a very interesting monetary which you can tour. 3 great restaurants. Be aware there are no shops nearby.

The location is amazing. Next to the monastery, pretty quiet even though there are restaurants near by. From one room window you see the street and the monastery and from the other room a vineyard. Our host was very polite and we manage to communicate easily with him (something that is not guarantee in Italy since most Italians refuse to speak English). He even helped us with our bags and informed as a bit for the area. The rooms were clean. he even had a cold wine bottle for us in the fridge. He was very polite and trying to help with everything.

We were very surprised to find that there was only one shower in the property. The description clearly states “2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a shower and a bidet”, but in reality, the second “bathroom” is just a WC with a sink, not a full bathroom. This meant that 5 people (not from the same family) had to share one shower, which caused a lot of inconvenience — especially when getting ready in the morning or after a long day out. If we had known this beforehand, we would have chosen another place. Another issue is that the gas burner/boiler is located inside a closet in the double bedroom. Each time someone used hot water, it produced a very loud noise, making it impossible to relax or sleep until everyone was done showering or using water. The kitchen equipment is quite basic, suitable only for preparing very simple meals. In addition, there is no air conditioning in the dining area, and no alternative indoor space to sit comfortably. Finally, we stayed for 5 nights and were only given one set of towels per guest. While it’s possible to wash them, they don’t dry quickly enough — especially in summer, when you typically shower multiple times a day. A second set of towels would have been much more convenient.

An absolute gem of a place, beautiful place to stay with exceptional views. We stayed for one night whilst travelling and have to say it was the most comfortable bed we had slept in on our entire trip!
