Chianti Craft House Badia a Passignano

In the lovely and beautiful village, nice facilities in a hundred year’s old house. Room is nice with fantastic view to the vineyard and the monastery. The monastery is a great treasury, if we didn’t choose to stay here, we’ll never know this interesting place.

Staff who greeted us was helpful and friendly, he went out of his way to offer us some simple breakfast when he realized we didn’t prepare anything of our own; the apartment is a bit old but maintained, view from the master bedroom into the vineyard is unforgettable, the town is small but lovely, we particularly enjoyed the restaurant next door which offers great Italian food

Quite some stairs if you are traveling with large luggage or elderly

Fantastic location in the heart of Chianti. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, clean, nicely updated but with lots of historic charm. Three restaurants within a few steps of your door, and across the street from a historic monastery that you can tour. Close to Greve, Siena, San Gimignano, and Florence.

No couch or living room type area, but not a big deal since we spent most days outside of the apartment.
