You are given a lovely welcome and tour of the facility. Great suggestion about restaurants nearby. Their location is perfect. Just a short walk to to the centre of town. They are super helpful and so accommodating. It is a just ask us culture and we will do our best to accommodate. There is a spa on site where we enjoyed massages. The breakfast was lovely and the entire experience was peaceful.

We moved rooms in the middle of our stay at their request. It was sold and an upgrade, but they clearly needed our room for other guests, and we did not mind. I did not mind either room, however the first one was more to my liking. It had a separate toilet in the bathroom, which is a huge plus and the beds were more comfortable. We lost the bench ottoman at the bottom of the bed, which was a nice to have, and we had nobody staying on either side of us or above us. The new room had a bigger pool which was nice.

Very well appointed in terms of walking in and around Franchoek. My husband has mobility issues but could manage most of the steps and levels here. We had a large room with its own dip pool and patio. Lovely. The communal swimming pool is large enough for excercise too!

Nothing to criticise regarding this hotel. The staff could not be more helpful and the breakfast was great

Mooie kamer in het oude gedeelte van het hotel sfeervol ingericht.

Manager van het hotel negeerde ons compleet. Bij het ontbijt besteedde hij veel aandacht aan vooral Engelse gasten bij het ontbijt. Hele verhalen van hoe gaat het; goed geslapen; wat gaan jullie doen; delen van leuke tips etc. Telkens als wij iets wilde bestellen moesten we er om vragen en best wel lang wachten. Geen één keer heeft hij de moeite genomen om ons iets te vragen!!Bij het uitchecken (ook door de manager) werd ook niks gevraagd; hoe was jullie verblijf? wat zijn jullie plannen? ook geen goede reis gewenst. Ronduit onbeschoft. Stuur die man op een cursus communiceren met klanten. Normaliter verblijven wij in The Belmont, prachtige kamers met een super service. Wij reizen ontzettend veel maar dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt.

we didn't stay here as there was an overbooking! they tried to get us to stay one night and the other night in their sister hotel, which was a lower grade. We weren't interested in that and went to another hotel
