Close to everything, great breakfast, lovely staff. Couldn’t recommend it enough

The bed was a bit too firm for us.

Nelson and Jay were fantastic hosts! The hotel is in a great location 2 mins walk to the main strip where there are some great restaurant options.

Os itens quentes são preparados na hora, com bastante variedade. Estacionamento fechado e espaçoso. Rua tranquila. Funcionários gentis e prestativos. Nota 9,5

Não havia frigobar no quarto, quando reservei não me atentei a esse detalhe. A falta de suco de laranja e de água (mesmo para comprar), mas como fiquei só uma diária, não foi um grande incômodo, mas deve ter sido algo muito pontual, porque não me parece que um hotel tão bem cuidado tenha isso com frequência. A minha cama (o box) rangia ao ao sentar na ponta. Não era do colchão. Só detalhes, não incomodou para dormir.

Nice, small historical hotel with good service and friendly, supportive staff. The location is close to the main street of Franschhoek but quiet. Restaurants and shops are close by.

Our room was in the old building (a new one is also there), aged and a bit smelly / musty. The old aircon was leaking into the TV below what caused a shortcut. For a hotel claiming for 5 stars and asking for corresponding rates, the room was not appropriate (more 2 stars rather than 5). Dinner is only a small selection and needs advance booking for preparation. We booked in advance for one evening but it was forgotten to prepare.

Location is absolutely perfect - 1 street back from the Main Street where everything is, car parking is secured and bang outside the front door, staff are amazing. Really good complimentary breakfast, room had TV with DSTV/NetFlix/Prime/YouTube in addition to having USB sockets for charging

The bed was too firm for us, but other than that I genuinely cannot complain, I have been going to Franschhoek for 10 years and its probably the best place we have stayed, booked to go again in February

The staff were excellent, the hotel was characterful, clean and comfortable. We left too early for breakfast but they very kindly made us boxes to take away. Really enjoyed our brief stay.
