Clarence street Luxury city centre Apartment close to Minster

Nice big kitchen & living area, nice bathrooms & bedrooms

Us kiwi’s didn’t know how to lock the door, so needed to make a phone call. The 2 flights of stairs were steep & not suitcase friendly especially if your a long haul traveller.

Nothing i leave 1 day early bcoz didn't like it

No air conditioning and dusty aswell

When the windows were open it smelt like a Chinese restaurant because of the vents from the shop below.

Well appointed generally and modern and clean. Quirky and interesting layout but plenty of amenities and almost everything we needed was in the apartment.

The apartment did feel a bit too warm but perhaps we just didn't find a way to adjust it. Opening the windows showed how good the sound insulation was from the local area noise - pretty unavoidable given it's really useful central location. Weren't able to find any cutlery which was a small hiccup but everything else had been well thought out and provided. Would recommend and definitely use again.

Good location situated just out of the centre so a bit quiter. Good to have a Tesco Extra nearby and the very delicious Allys Cheesecakes was tested and highly recommended. Apartment had extremely comfy beds, stylish bathrooms and kitchen and comfy furniture.

We really liked the apartment so these are just small observations of our 2 night stay. Couldn't quite fathom out how to get the regular tv guide on the tv in the living room. Tiny amount of hand soap in downstairs toilet none in upstairs. Not sure if information said we would need to bring our own shower gel but no toiletries provided. Some small bedside tables in he bedrooms would be helpful. Dust under beds excessive and on the fans which then blew dust all over our clothes that we had put on the bed when we turned them on as very hot in the rooms at night. Upstairs flush wasn't brilliant seemed to raise the water and not flush all toilet paper away with one flush.

How close it was to York we liked the hidden drawer and the lights on the stairs were a nice touch and tvs in each bedroom the girls loved

The steep stairs as we had three young children. Could not tell how steep stairs were in the pictures.

Location

No clothing space

This was the perfect location in beautiful York. The bedding and towels and beds were so comfy and plush. Messages with the owner were handled quickly and kindly. Our stay could not have been better.
