Located at the ghat at walking distance from Kashi Vishwanath temple. Awesome view of Ganges. Haveli style.

Loved everything about property.

Property was amazing. Food was good. Staff was very accommodating.

Entry to the hotel was through winding lanes of banaras. Walk to the property was exhausting when you just want to crash. Later it becomes fun though. It was because of floods we were told.

La posizione è unica, i begli hotel in Varanasi che si affacciano sul Gange si contano sulle dita. Vista mozzafiato e atmosfera molto caratteristica. La struttura è affascinante. La sera nella sala-tempio c'è un ragazzo che canta e suona che è veramente bravissimo e svolta la serata in hotel: oltre al piacere di ascoltarlo ti immerge totalmente in un mood indiano-spirituale. L'accoglienza e il dono quando si arrivo. La disponibilità del manager riguardo alla prenotazione. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Purtroppo nei nostri giorni ( agosto ) il Gange è stato molto alto e rende impossibile godere appieno della struttura, camminare sulle rive del fiume per spostarsi in centro e arrivare comodamente in hotel con la barca. Per arrivare e spostarsi bisogna fare le strade interne, tanto affascinanti quanto difficile da orientarsi. Il personale del ristorante: avevamo una stanza sotto la terrazza del ristorante e sia la sera dopo cena ( e passi ) che la mattina alle 6, spostano tutti i tavolini e sedie, non alzandoli ma trascinandoli facendo forte rumore. L'aria condizionata punta sul letto e non si può regolare la direzione.

The position of the property was great.

The river was flooded, so it was a 15/20 minute walk through small alleyways where you could easily get lost. The pictures shown were manipulated to make the hotel appear larger and in a much better light than it actually was. No alcohol was served, banned, or sold. (Not mentioned). Overall, very disappointed, there are many better hotels elsewhere for the money.

La ubicacion

El personal no fue demasiado simpatico ni facilitador con algunas cosas que les pedimos por favor. Habiamos reservado una habitacion especifica y nos dieron la que les dio la gana, de peor calidad. Y encima cuando se lo dijimos, no nos dieron solucion. Demasiado caro para el servicio y trato que dan.
