Calidad/precio terrible, booking no debería atreverse a calificarlo hotel de 4 estrellas, es un insulto en comparación con otros hoteles 4 o 5 estrellas de Varanasi. El edificio es viejo, cutre y no informan con suficiente antelación sobre el estado del acceso al hotel, es decir la entrada al hotel y sus alrededores durante el monzón, en mi caso en agosto. Tampoco dan opción a cancelar la reserva, debes ir obligada pese a lo desagradable de la estancia durante las intensas lluvias. El rio Ganges crece, inunda los ghats, es insalubre y desagradable considerando también el intenso calor y el mal estado de los gullis (calles características de la ciudad vieja). Ademas de todo esto nos obligaron a pagar el total de la reserva + 53€ de cargos adicionales no justificados durante el check in, claro, por si huíamos despavoridas.

A fantastic hotel right on the banks of the Ganges. The rooms are large with great views, good supply of complimentary refreshments, powerful showers and comfortable beds. All spotlessly clean. The hotel is really peaceful, with plenty of outside sitting areas, to relax and take in the view. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and we received a lovely welcome into the hotel. We were able to check in very early and keep our room until 1pm on day of departure.

Unfortunately the Ganges was flooded so we couldn't arrive by boat, but the hotel porters came to meet us and guide us through the lanes. The hotel is relatively expensive compared to other similar ones across India that we stayed in, but that is Varanasi, everything costs a bit more.

The hotel itself, although old, has a certain charm and offers a beautiful view of the river. The staff, overall, was reasonably friendly, and breakfast was average.

My stay was during the rainy season, which may have contributed to some of the downsides, but even so, considering the price we paid, the property is simply not worth it. The rooms and all common areas are in urgent need of a refresh and renovation. The hotel itself has great potential, being located right on the river with a beautiful view, but unfortunately, we left far from satisfied. Our room was long, narrow, and oddly arranged, with all the windows facing common areas, meaning we couldn’t even open the curtains for privacy. On our second day, we were woken up at 9 a.m. by extremely loud music blasting from speakers placed right next to our room. On top of that, we received far too many phone calls from the reception during our stay — including one at 10 p.m., just as we were about to fall asleep, asking if we would be dining at the property, and another the following morning at 9:10 a.m (we were sleeping) to ask if we would be having breakfast. We found this level of intrusion inappropriate. We also felt rather uncomfortable on-site, as there were many local people either working on renovations or simply hanging around, and it made us feel out of place. The property is located about a 20-minute walk from the point where taxis can drop you off — something that should be clearly communicated at the time of booking — meaning a long walk every time you want to go anywhere. If we had paid half the price, my review would likely be different. However, given the very high cost, we were absolutely not satisfied with our stay

방은 매우 깔끔하게 정돈되어 있고 호텔이 아기자기 하다고 해야되나? 직원들도 대부분 친절함

갠지스강을 편하게 보려고 선택했는데 이게 독이었음.. 가는길이 매우 어렵고 좁고 길에 소,염소,개, 사람 똥오줌이 널려있음.. 직원들없으면 들어가지도 못함.. 바닥만 보고 다녀야됨. 호텔은 18세기 지어진 역사적인 저택을 복원한 건축물이라고 나와서 기대했는데 주변이 정돈이 안되어있음.. 입구도 개구멍만한... 우기여서 비가 많이와서 강 레벨이 높아져서 그런지몰라도 일단 우리가 갔을때는 별로였음. 조식포함 예약했는데 3박에 100만원 넘게 냈는데 조식메뉴에 흔한 베이컨도 없고 그냥 먹을게 아예없음.. 계란이라도 구워주나 싶어서 물어보니 그것도 없음...그야말로 그냥 갠지스강뷰 끝. 인도물가치고 너무 비쌈..

Buen ubicada, hermoso, personal muy amable Muy limpio todo Tiene incluido el bote de namo ghat hasta el Hotel La comida del restaurante muy buena!

Buffet del desayuno no tenia mucha variedad para escoger y un dia no habia buffet y era como a la Carta muy limitado El check out es a las 12:00 y nosotros nos tomamos con calma el horario de salida, dimos aviso el día previo que lo haríamos a las 12:00 en punto y pues ese dia nos llamaron al menos 2 veces en la mañana para preguntarnos a que hora haciamos el check out, lo que fue un poco hostigoso ya que estabamos aprovechando de descansar

The location

The triple bedroom was small and dingy. The bathroom was leaking and water was coming through the doors into the bedroom due to the rain. The staff was excellent however. Couldn’t fault them!
