The location was perfect for peace away from everything Fiona and Stephen were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble We thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting peace and tranquility in picturesque surroundings

We only live 10 miles from the place but it's like chalk and cheese ! We wanted to get away from it all and this place certainly does that. Plenty of things to do within a 10 mile drive and a pub within a half hour walk - albeit through fields - but we didn't want that. It was just me, the wife, a few chickens and the odd cow. Sat round the firepit drinking wine and cooking lovely steaks on it. No sounds of traffic or people, just the countryside. Finished the night off sat round round the log burner inside the hut - which has extremely comfortable furnishings, with the bonus of a separate building attached housing a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom ! Second time staying here in the space of 4 months and looking at it again. Love the peace and quiet away from the 3 young adults at home who are always partying !

First stay we had a BBQ but it wasn't there the second time - although we cooked on the firepit so not too much trouble. Spoke with the owners who said they could get us the BBQ - they'd just taken it away because they didn't think anyone would be BBQ'ing in Feb - but we didn't bother. However we would've preferred it to be available to us when we got there but I'm not complaining about such a minor thing when everything else was fantastic !

The hut and adjoining kitchen and bathroom were exactly as we hoped. The hut was wonderfully kitted out with all we needed, the walking literature was an added bonus and offered places to visit both by car or on foot from the farm. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the view first thing in a morning won't be beaten. Seeing the sun rise straight through your window is magical.

Peaceful and stunning location on a working farm. The hut had all the facilities you’d expect. The log burning stove was very welcome for a February visit and kept the main room cosy. We also enjoyed having no mobile or wifi And no TV (there was one which we didn’t plug in) - reading and chatting! Great hosts.

Overall mainly clean although some areas could do with more attention. Nothing to worry about though!

Everything, the location, views, peace and quiet, no phone signal, log burner, breakfast hamper. Had everything and more than we needed. I also asked Fiona if she could provide some birthday extras which she did.

Wasn't sure what to expect for the time of year & snowy weather but our stay was excellent, Fiona was so helpful making sure we had all the information we needed not only for our stay but also very detailed directions which made finding it a breeze, once had arrived Stephen came to make sure we had everything we needed & was happy with our little shepherds hut, we we're more than happy, we got the log burner fired up & settled in for a warm, cosy, peaceful night in what i can only describe as a little piece of heaven in the North Yorks Moors Thank you so much Fiona & Stephen it was perfect & we're already thinking about our return.

There was nothing to dislike about this place.
