Shepherd's Hut Bilsdale

Loved the fact that there is only the one hut so you are completely alone.

Walks could be sign posted from property and check in could be earlier so the walks can be done in daylight during the winter months.

Excellent stay, Fiona was lovely, really warm and great with my son, letting him feed the animals etc.

Nothing, was all perfect

Secluded and quiet, perfect for getting away from it all!

Very nice night away. A little bit different. Loved being able to sit with a glass of wine in the evening enjoying a quiet beautiful view. Great having the breakfast hamper too. Fiona and Steve were very nice hosts. We are returning for 2 nights this time .😀

The location is incredible. Close enough to towns, the coast, hikes, and places to eat, but far away enough that it's peaceful and relaxing. The hut itself is perfect was perfect, with trinkets to make it feel homely but not cluttered. It was very clean and neat. I didn't get chance to use the wood burner on this occasion but will be back to try next time! Kitchen has everything you need and the fresh eggs, milk and biscuits were a lovely addition.

I have nothing to add here, it was exactly what i wanted and had everything I needed for a couple nights away.

Booked as a present for my mother in law and she said it’s one of the best places she’s ever been!

Excellent little retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Everything you need in one little space. Unbelievable views and surroundings. Amazing to walk up to the sound of nature one of the most refreshing nights sleep I have had in a long time. Lovely hosts! We will definitely be visiting again.
